I turn the truth of life into art.
Yes, I get pretty creative sometimes. But I also like to be real. Like, radically honest, spill it all out there, get-to-the-core-of-it real.
I like helping other people feel comfortable doing the same – by sharing the stories of visual and performing artists on the Let’s Get Real Creative podcast, by bravely speaking about things through my art that often go unsaid, by bringing order to that which feels scary and complicated.
I think I’ve always been this way. I’m what the Sparketype quiz calls “The Essentialist,” someone who takes all the messiness of life and boils it down to the most important truths. Creating beauty from chaos is what makes me come alive.
I’ve used this skill in so many parts of my life – as a singer and actress, as an arts marketer, as a fundraiser, as an employee, as a writer, as a crafter, as a wife and mom of two little kids, as a careful listener and friend.
But I recognize that not everyone (in fact – hardly anyone) is an Essentialist, so I’m here to help you get to the heart of whatever it is you want to share, speak, or present to the world. Your vulnerability is already beautiful, but when we turn it into art and share it, using the skills and talents you already have? That’s powerful.
You can harness that power, starting right now.
Here with you in truth and bravery,
